This morning we launched a new website for the Arkansas Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities - gcdd.ar.gov. We are especially proud to have partnered with the Council and executive director Eric Munson on this site. This project was particularly meaningful to our staff as we have several family members with developmental disabilities.
This project represents an ideal relationship between INA and an agency: We sat down with Eric and his team several months ago as he began the process of rebuilding and refocusing the Council. Over the past few months, our teams have collaborated closely together, and that collaboration helped Eric’s team focus on the mission and content for the site, and our team to focus on the best presentation for that content. Together, we designed a new logo that represents the three key components of the Council’s mission (inclusion. integration. independence.) and launched a simple and clean design that draws the visitor into the content rather than into a flashy design.
This project was months in the making, and at the outset Eric was clear that he wanted the best website, not an arbitrary timeline. His team put in the work and sweated every detail, and their work shows in the final result. If you know Eric, drop him a note at firstname.lastname@example.org and congratulate him and his team.
